Reconditioned 2 Oven Traditional Aga

The standard Aga or more commonly known as the Traditional Aga was only produced in solid fuel and cream in colour when first available. The Aga was made in two and four oven models used either for cooking only or with the option to power a domestic hot water system.

This Aga proved to be the number one choice for the consumer due to the craftsmanship and sheer durability of the appliance. More importantly, the Traditional Aga Cooker was a fantastic addition to any kitchen oozing traditional character.

The Aga is made from cast iron which makes it the perfect appliance to be reconditioned. Countrystyle Cookers use the castings of an old Aga Cooker which are then shot-blasted and vitreous enamelled in a colour of your choice. All the additional parts are completely replaced i.e. Packing and seals, powder coated sides, oven racks door liners and burner etc.

Reconditioned Traditional Aga Cookers are available in 22 colours as displayed on the left side of the screen. Place your mouse over a colour swatch to see the main Aga colour change to get a better perception of how it could look in your kitchen.

It also comes in a solid fuel / oil fired and gas version. The oil and gas option is a factory conversion from the sold fuel model (not to be mistaken for an on-site conversion i.e. converted in your house with oil or gas pipes running round the front of the Aga.).

The renovated solid fuel Aga Cookers are only designed to use coals & anthracite not wood.

A two oven reconditioned Aga Cooker has 2 large hot plates and 2 large ovens. The left hand side hot plate is your main plate used for boiling while the right hand side is for simmering. The same rule applies for the ovens; the top oven is the main cooking oven and the lower oven is for simmering.

An Aga can save you money on your heating bills as the cooker produces heat which actss as a radiator. Once the kitchen is heated the heat will disperse through into other rooms.
