Reconditioned 2 Oven Deluxe Aga

The Aga deluxe was introduced in the late 60’s, As a solid fuel, oil fired and gas fired range. The Aga was made in a two oven and a four oven model, used either for cooking only or with the option for domestic hot water.

There is no difference between hot plate and oven sizes or performace levels in relation to a traditional Aga. The main difference is purely cosmetic as it was designed with more rounded-off edges with a more plain-looking front, giving a more modern look.

The Aga is made from cast iron which makes it a fantastic appliance to be reconditioned. We only use the castings of a cooker which are shot blasted and vitreous enamelled in the colour of your choice. All the additional parts are replaced i.e.

  • Packing and seals
  • Powder coated sides
  • Oven racks
  • Door liners and burner etc

Reconditioned Deluxe Agas can know be purchased in 22 different colours as shown on the left hand side of the page, if you scroll over a colour and watch the main Agas' colour change before your eyes.

A two oven Aga has 2 large hot plates and 2 large ovens. The left hand side hot plate is your main plate for boiling & the right hand side is for simmering. The same applies for the ovens; the top oven is the main cooking oven and the lower oven is for simmering.

An Aga cooker can save money on your heating bills as the Aga produces heat which acts like a radiator so once the room is heated up it will disperse into other rooms. Also you can save on your electricity bills as you can boil a kettle, make toast, & make toasted sandwiches which make all the electric appliances redundant.

With the hot water option money can even be saved on your water heating bills should you use an emursion system.
